Weight Loss Calorie Calculator
There are different weight loss calorie calculator tools. One type can figure out the time and daily calories required to reach your goal.
A second tool is the bmi calculator. The body mass indicator uses one's height and weight. It is a way to screen potential weight problems but requires additional tests including a skinfold thickness exam and study of genetics.
For adults if your BMI is below 18.5 you are considered underweight. If it's between 18.5 and 24.9 that is normal range and from 25.0 to 29.9 is overweight. Beyond that is considered in the obese category. Don't forget though that athletes may have a pretty high BMI but due to it being muscle rather than fat it's not an issue.
The BMI calculator for kids is different than for adults. For kids, there are sex- specific factors used for calculations plus the age.
