Tea Tree Oil Use

Tea tree oil comes from the plant which is native to Australia. It is used in many different types of applications including problems related to fungus, bacteria and viruses. It can also be called melaleuca oil.

Please remember that tea tree oil is not to be used internally. People have found relief from acne, ringworm, dandruff and lice in the scalp. It has anti-inflammatory properties. Some people have given testimonials for it's ability to help clear out mucus and overcome respiratory problems.

Tea tree oil has been added to shampoos, toothpastes and cold sore treatments by certain manufacturers. The oil is used for fighting plaque and can be diluted to use as a mouthwash after brushing teeth. Some of the compounds in tea tree oil include terpines and pinines. People take it with them when travelling or going on an outdoors adventure for it's aid in helping with insect bites and infections. Also usually you find tea tree oil packaged in dark glass with a dropper so that the oil's strength won't be damaged by light rays.
