Eating For Life
Bill Phillips wrote "Eating for Life" and he's also authored "Body for Life". This book isn't a diet per se but is about ways to satisfy one's appetite and still stay fit. Thomas outlines the principles for nourishing one's body as well as reducing body fat and increasing energy. His "Body for Life" book has been a New York Times bestseller.
Phillips feels that starvation will always backfire and that it's best to not trick the body. He emphasizes taste and the recipes include spicy buffalo chicken sandwich, spaghetti and meatballs as well as bbq chicken pita pizza. Because the recipes are fast, it help prevent the urge to just run out and buy convenient fast foods. The book has meal plans, grocery lists plus kitchen tips and conversion charts.
Phillips was honored by the late JFK as well as Paul Newman and has many accomplishments to be proud of. For those that are visual, each recipe in book has a picture.
